A message from Karen:
"I love the mountains here. It was a difficult decision to move to Utah, but I am glad
I did. I'm new in the area and looking for friends to explore the sights. I like to
talk about ideas, and to be outdoors. I'm a pretty quiet person. Write to me!"

Karen, emailaddress@willappear.here
Karen, 30, member since age 21, lives in Orem, UT.
White, 5'6" of average weight, brown hair, blue eyes.
She speaks English.
Occupation: Human Resources
She has never been married and is looking for pen pals, great
friendships, a civil marriage, or an eternal marriage. If Karen marries,
she is interested in having a child, or children, with her new spouse.
Karen's physical activity level is medium, and she's a morning person. She
likes camping, card table games, chess, church service, computer graphics,
crafts, dancing, drawing, hiking, playing with
children, reading, scripture/gospel study, singing, talking / philosophizing,
and writing (books or articles).
Education: Associate's Degree
Karen is both left and right brained (creative and analytical), and she
communicates mostly with words and deeds, rather than with touch.
Karen attends church every Sunday. She does not believe Sundays are for
shopping, spectator sports, and personal recreation. She's planning on serving
a mission later in life.
She describes herself as adventuresome, ambitious, compassionate, creative,
feisty, funny, helpful, independent, industrious, opinionated, optimistic,
outdoorsy, quiet, resourceful, and spontaneous.
How do you put Christ at the center of your life?
"I try to ask myself when I see people, what if this were the savior in
disguise? How would I treat Him? And then treat that person the same way."
What do you see yourself doing and/or accomplishing within the next five years?
"I'm really trying to find the right person to be with, plan with, and share with.
I also want to make
a difference in the world. I would like to do some volunteer work for a
worthy cause, maybe help others who are facing some of the same kinds of
challenges I have been through lately."
What's your favorite scriptural passage, and why?
"The sermon on the mount is at the top of my list. I am very serious about
NOT judging others, forgiving and going the extra mile. I also like D&C 121:34-44.
Not just something for the priesthood holders, I think these same attributes
are an ideal for everyone to strive towards."
What's your definition of love?
"I believe the biggest challenge of loving someone is to accept them as they
are. Sometimes it seems like everyone is looking for perfection. I think love
begins when you can look at a person and see their flaws, but still appreciate
the good qualities as well."
